Categories & Age Group Competitions (2027)

The tournament reserves the right to change the below age groups category competitions as well as the formats to meet the tournament requirements in relation to the final registered participating numbers and for the smoother run of the event.

Unlimited number of girls can join in the boys’ teams / girls can be up to 1 year over aged. With regards to age groups bear in mind that for next year, the age groups to be hosted (January 1st to December 31st) will be as follows.

For your correct travel and accommodation arrangements, note carefully the below starting & ending dates per different age group which will be finalized upon completion of teams registrations.

GRASSROOTS EDITION (9 VS 9 / 7 VS 7 / 5 VS 5)

OPEN CATEGORY (ONE LEVEL COMPETITION ONLY)

CATEGORY Α - ELITE

CATEGORY Β (40 TEAMS - 8 GROUPS X 5 TEAMS PER GROUP)

LOWER LEVEL (B) CATEGORIES (THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
It is strictly forbidden to transfer players that are originally registered to play in categories A (Elite) down to Categories B. However players originally registered to play in categories B can be transferred to play with category A teams as well but only if they are registered in our online platform with all of the age group teams intended to be used.

GIRLS COMPETITIONS

Unlimited number of girls can be declared.

Girls exceptionally can be registered to play both in girls and boys age groups competitions under different name academies.

U15 GIRLS 9 VS 9 (2 x 25) SUNDAY 25/04 - WEDNESDAY 28/04 - (10 TEAMS - 2 GROUPS X 5 TEAMS PER GROUP)
The right to participate in the Girls' U-15 Championship will be granted to female players who have not exceeded the age of 15 by 01/01/2025, i.e., those born on 01/01/2012 or later.
As an exception, three (3) players born in year 2011 will be allowed to participate. Each team can have an unlimited number of players born in 2011 on their roster, but only three (3) can play simultaneously. A different player born in 2011 can enter the game when a substitution is made, according to the rules of the game.

U13 GIRLS 7 vs 7 (2 x 25) 25/04 - WEDNESDAY 28/04 - (10 TEAMS - 2 GROUPS X 5 TEAMS PER GROUP)
The right to participate in the Girls' U-13 Championship will be granted to female players who have not exceeded the age of 13 by 01/01/2025, i.e., those born on 01/01/2014 or later.
As an exception, up to two (2) players older than 13 years old born in year 2013 will be allowed to participate. Each team can have an unlimited number of players born in 2013, but only two (2) can play simultaneously. A different player born in 2013 can enter the game when a substitution is made, according to the rules of the game.

U11 GIRLS 5 vs 5 (2 x 20) 25/04 - WEDNESDAY 28/04 - (8 TEAMS - 2 GROUPS X 4 TEAMS PER GROUP)
The right to participate in the Girls' U-11 Championship will be granted to female players who have not exceeded the age of 13 by 01/01/2025, i.e., those born on 01/01/2016 or later.
As an exception, up to one (1) player older than 11 years old born in year 2015 will be allowed to participate. Each team can have an unlimited number of players born in 2015, but only one (1) can play simultaneously. A different player born in 2015 can enter the game when a substitution is made, according to the rules of the game.

GAME RULES

Goal Kick (This rule does not imply for 11 vs 11 & 9 vs 9 age group categories)
In 7 vs 7 & 5 vs 5 age group competitions, Goal kicks must not be executed before the opposing team returns to the center of the field. To consider the ball "in play" after the goal kick and to continue the game, the ball must exit the penalty area and land with a teammate of the kicker in their own half of the field.

Ball Re-entry & Return to Goalkeeper
The same as above applies when the goalkeeper is returning the ball while the game is being played (when the ball is in the goalkeeper's hands).
The ball must always be returned from a throw-in with the hands. In case of a violation of the above rule, the throw-in will be repeated. When a teammate passes the ball back to the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper cannot use their hands to play the ball.
