Qualification Procedure
Qualification process and knock out stage for age categories from 2012 to 2017 with participations in LIONS and EAGLES levels.
Formation of 3 different level categories for knock out stage as below:
Category A:
Teams qualifying from the Eagles group stage games will be drawn as normal to proceed for their knock out games in category A. Finals for Knock out Category A scheduled to take place on Wednesday 01st May.
Category B:
Teams qualifying from the Lions group stage games together with the disqualified teams from the Eagles groups’ stage will join together and be drawn to proceed for their knock out games in category B. Finals for Knock out Category B scheduled to take place on Wednesday 01st May.
Category C:
Disqualified teams from the Lions groups’ stage will be drawn to proceed for their knock out games in category C. Finals for Knock out Category C scheduled to take place on Tuesday 30th April.
For rest of Boys age groups from 2008 down to 2011 plus Girls competitions the qualification process is as normal with group leading teams proceeding to the knock out stage per different age group category.
In general, the number of teams to qualify will depend on the number of groups to be formed depending on the total number of registered participation.
